Vehicle Sales Manager

ROLE:

The role of the Sales Manager entails implementing, adhering to and supporting the Customer Buying process and any new initiatives established by dealership management for the goal of continual improvement, staff engagement, employee development and accountability and most importantly customer satisfaction.

The most important role in this position is one of leadership! Can you help lead a team of professionals towards a common goal of continual improvement and dedication to customer service?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with the Sales team to train and continually improve knowledge, skills and a culture of accountability and professionalism
• Encourage and support Sales team to foster the discipline and motivation to accomplish their tasks and goals
• Meet with customers and provide necessary information and support throughout the buying process, including but not limited to, deal desking, product knowledge and follow-up on commitments.
• Handle customer concerns with empathy and tact
• Continually monitor the effectiveness of internal processes and work with staff and management towards improvement
• Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of Ford of Canada products and programs and ensure dealership compliance with these programs
• Understand business financial data and develop goals, strategies and actionable plans to improve results
• Assist and support management in the implementation of sales and dealership training initiatives
• Assist and support management in fostering teamwork and positive engagement between departments

Management / Leadership experience is required, and a proven automotive sales track record is an asset.

WHAT WE OFFER:
