The Role:
- preparing patients for treatments, ensuring that all applicable health, safety, and professional business practices of the Employer are followed
- cleaning and maintaining equipment and working with the Patient Support Team to ensure supplies are stocked and prepared; adhering to all hygiene policies set forth by the Employer
- assisting with various therapies and medical procedures within your scope of practice
- documenting patient treatment details, initiating intravenous injections and performing phlebotomy as required
- ensuring that any tests you have collected, prepared and/or shipped are completed in full
- maintaining inventory and ordering necessary supplies for the Laboratory and IV therapy departments
- working closely with our office manager to ensure quick and efficient implementation of new therapies or protocols
- remain up to date on relevant job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
- timely and respectful communication with other Neurvana team members
- professionalism is required at all times in Neurvana offices, or anywhere else where you would represent Neurvana Health (public events, meetings, etc)
What to expect
- Part time, permanent (20-35 hours per week)
- Monday to Thursday (specific schedule made available to successful, round one applicants)
- Hourly & bi-weekly pay by direct deposit

To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be registered with your governing body in the province of Alberta
- Hold a valid Licensed Practical (LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) Certification
- Maintain professional liability and malpractice insurance through your college
- Maintain a valid IV therapy certification
- Valid CPR / ACLS / BLS certification
- Valid work authorization: Canadian citizen or a Canadian Permanent Resident
An asset:
- Experience in or a passion for functional and integrative medicine
- Previous experience in a private medical practice
- A burning desire to work alongside an interdisciplinary team of health professionals redefining centralized medicine as we know it
