Clariti's government software helps North America's largest and fastest growing communities deliver exceptional community development, permitting, and licensing experiences online. Every day, our solutions help governments approve more permits for new homes, business licenses for entrepreneurs, and professional licenses for essential workers.

What will you work on?

Reporting to the EVP, Sales, the Manager, Solution Consulting will be a key member in building a scalable framework and team for software demonstrations that speak to our customers' needs and values. Clariti is looking for an individual that possesses both the technical and soft skills and enjoys "translating" fluently between technical and non-technical personnel, to ensure that the requirements of the customer are clearly articulated within the demo content.

As a Manager, Solutions Consulting you will craft focused sales demonstrations for a large range of State and Local Government agencies. You will work alongside a team of product managers, product developers, and sales professionals to provide unforgettable first impressions of Clariti Solutions to our customers

Customer Demonstrations:

  • Prepare, lead, and deliver strategic technical product demonstrations for sales meetings outlining the proposed software functional capabilities, competitive advantages, and business benefits that are relevant to customer's business requirements.
  • Conduct the product demonstrations and sales support at vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with sales team, product team, partner team, and external customers to capture needs and functional requirements, incorporate these needs/requirements into the system prototype, and demo final prototype effectively.

Strategic Solutioning:

  • Provide technical leadership for sales opportunities.
  • Strategize with sales and partner teams to determine customer-meeting objectives, and understand how this activity relates to the overall sales plan. - Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results — networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Utilize appropriate applications, tools, and solutions to develop and present advanced configured prototype solutions and presentations to customers at the highest levels of corporate visibility.

Collaboration:

  • Internal: Build a trusted relationship with the Sales Lead and other account stakeholders to provide practical guidance in the functional and technical aspects of proposed software and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • External: Develop client and partner relationships to gain more in-depth insight into client situation, needs, and internal situations.

Trusted Advisor:

  • Delivers technical architecture related information, leads technical discovery sessions, responds to architecture and infrastructure questions when necessary.
  • Maintains and develops appropriate knowledge levels of technical and industry trends.
  • Evaluate RFxs for fit and viability of response.
What you bring to the team?
  • 3+ years of successful Sales Engineer experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience in land management or permitting & licensing.
  • Ability to build a shared understanding of customer needs and motivations among members of cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent, flexible, time management with skilled independent organization.
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills – solution oriented.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, superb critical listening skills.
  • Exceptional technical project management skills, including planning, scheduling, executing, and monitoring.

The initial base salary range for this role is expected to be between $135k - $190k annually. Our compensation bands are based on various factors, including the labour market (as informed by our business stage and industry), job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
