The Marketing Technology Manager is key to take our customer strategy and customer experience to the next level by driving adoption, optimization, integration and efficiencies in our Marketing technology.

This role will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the organization to ensure that our technology supports our growth plan for all of our customer communication and retention initiatives. The Marketing Technology Manager will help drive the evolution from traditional email marketing to integrated, 1:1 customer experiences, ensuring our marketing teams have the tools, data, integration and systems in place to be best in class and deliver the best experience to our customers. The focus of the Marketing Technology Manager will be data, software, compliance and strategy integration to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve the customer experience with our marketing technology stacks.

A Day In The Life

  • Collaborate and strategize closely with the marketing team and key business stakeholders to ensure technology, data and integrations align with strategic business outcomes and ideal future state.
  • Strategically and collaboratively create marketing automations through enabling technology and unlocking further functionality in existing programs.
  • Work very closely with the Database Marketing team to ensure automated database marketing campaigns are properly supported from a data, integration, compliance, query and SQL standpoint.
  • Manage CRM marketing tech stack to enable data-driven marketing excellence and drive digital transformation.
  • Ensures all marketing tech stacks meet brand guidelines and comply with CASL, CAN-SPAM and other data and privacy regulations.
  • Accountable for ensuring marketing requirements are delivered in partnership with Business Technology. Key stakeholders in developing and maintaining cross-department collaboration.
  • Implements established best practices and identifies opportunities and new strategies/tactics to improve Database Marketing programs.
  • Leads program testing and optimization efforts, product releases, integrations with other platforms and support.
  • Tracks and analyzes all marketing tech stacks against business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates performance and leads improvements and pivots when needed.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Experience with leading, defining, collaborating, and implementing 1:1 customer messages and journeys across multiple mediums.
  • Experience launching, defining, optimizing and improving marketing technology stacks.
  • A deep understanding of analytics and data-driven campaign management and knowledge of Tableau are considered assets.
  • Respect for, and a history of compliance with CASL, CAN-SPAM and other anti-spam regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience managing and maintaining contact lists, contact deletion strategies and contact frequencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and extensive technical SFMC and data experience.
  • Familiarity with template design - HTML, CSS, SQL, AMPScript and other data languages.
  • Comfort working within multiple marketing tech stacks, cross-department collaboration and highly technical teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $90-130K per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
