Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid role)

Major Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build user-facing applications, and reusable components
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roles
• Expertise in WordPress (plugin development), PHP, JavaScript ES6, HTML / CSS / SCSS
• Expertise in React.js and its core principles
• Knowledge of Next.js is a plus
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux, Redux, or Context API)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, Redis, Cassandra)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and how they work.
• Proficiency with Git version control system and setting local environments (MAMP, Apache, SSL)
• Nice to have experience with AWS, Heroku, Jenkins, CI/CD
• Knowledge of mobile web development standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• 5+ years of Web Development
• Great attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience
