Here's what you will do as their Territory Sales Representative:
Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
Identify local business opportunities and challenges
Serve accounts per schedule or as required to maximize business potential
Promote and complete the sale of the products in an appropriate, professional and ethical manner with the highest regard to Platinum level service
Create best in class expectations with regards to distribution, visibility and pricing
Visit customers in assigned territory to ensure appropriate levels of the merchandise, including distributing and stocking of product at customer locations
Monitor market trends and maintain data on competition in key accounts
Conduct in-store audits with key business personnel
Participate in key trade shows and conferences and ensure the company is viewed as innovative and a market leader
Here's what you'll need to be successful as their Territory Sales Representative:
Proven sales experience covering a designated territory, making in-person sales calls in the chain and independent store channels (including gas, convenience, drug, grocery and mass merchant locations)
Experience in direct to store distribution (DSD) is strongly desired and B2B sales experience in other channels is an asset
High school diploma and/or college diploma in Sales, Business, Commerce, Marketing or other relevant field
Willing and able to travel within the territory on a daily basis
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, especially for the distribution of merchandise and stocking the products
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, with the ability to be bonded, for the ability to drive company van to client locations for product distribution, stocking and merchandising
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Excellent time-management and planning skills
Ability to lift and transport heavy items (50lbs) for product distribution and stocking
