What You'll Do:

HR Coordination:

  • Manage the HR Inbox, providing information and assistance to leaders and staff regarding Provincial Credit Union policies, procedures, and Employment Standards Act.
  • Monitor end of probation and performance reviews, alerting leaders as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintain HRIS on a regular basis; and ensures all employee data is up to date.
  • Recommend revisions and upgrades to HR platforms; provides training and support to users and develops user guides as required.
  • Enroll and approve credit union courses for staff (i.e. CCUA campus).

Benefits Coordination:

  • Administer the employee group benefits plans including but not limited to Health and Dental, Group Life, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurances, Pension and Employee Assistance Program. Enrolls new employees in applicable plans; provide benefits orientation and training as required; process terminations and changes; review billings from the insurance providers and regularly audits employee information for accuracy. Act as liaison between employees and insurance providers; investigates and resolves any employee questions and concerns.
  • Manage the employee leave process and serves as a key contact for staff on leave.
  • Coordinate wellness initiatives.

HRIS and Data Management:

  • Ensure integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, onboarding, status changes, and offboarding tasks and paperwork.
  • Maintain HR records on HR information system, including changes.
  • Create, prepare, and analyze reports.

Team Support and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Finance department when reviewing payroll prior to processing. Ensure all payroll data and any employee changes are entered accurately in the system.
  • Work closely with the HR team members regarding staffing changes to provide seamless transitions for new and existing employees.
  • Support the process of merit increases, cost of living increases, incentive payouts, and salary adjustments with high attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives.

What You Have:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HR coordination.

  • Salary range for this position: $50,941.54 - $59,931.22.
