Salary: $22.00/hour

At Chair-Man Mills, our goal is to service our clients with the highest of service. We rent everything you could need for the event, except for the food, drink and guests. We deliver and pick up party rentals in the Toronto Area and occasionally out of town. We are a flexible and positive employer with many shifts and work schedules to suit.

SCHEDULE: DAY SHIFT

Flexible to work Monday to Sunday. Starting time anywhere between 5:00 am and 7:00 am

DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Professionally lead crew in distribution of party rentals throughout event site.
• Drive trucks ranging from 3-ton trucks to 5-ton trucks.
• Client forward presentation in discussing and troubleshooting issues on site with client.
• Liaising between Logistics Team and client when on site to keep team up to date.
• Safely loading and unloading furniture from trucks.
• Checking cleanliness of furniture and spot-cleaning as necessary.
• Punctual delivery with the ability to work under a tight deadline.

REQUIREMENTS

• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift or carry items up to 70lbs.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and can show initiative.
• Knowledge and ability to adhere to workplace safety precautions.
• CSA approved steel toe shoes/boots.
• One day of weekend availability is required (either Saturday or Sunday).

OTHER SKILLS

• Experience as a residential or commercial mover.
• Valid G driver's license, with a clean driver's abstract (30 days or newer).
• Knowledge of local venues including hotels, convention centers, loading docks, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to sit / stand for up to 8-10 hours per shift.
• Exposure to some warm and cold weather.
