Milestone Equipment Contracting Inc is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Foreman to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will oversee landscaping projects from planning to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget. This involves developing detailed plans, managing a team, ensuring safety protocols and daily requirements are completed, procuring materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship through regular inspections and adherence to industry standards. Effective problem-solving and adaptability are essential for handling unexpected challenges. Working alongside civil construction teams ensures seamless coordination, efficient resource use, and comprehensive planning, preventing conflicts and delays. Open communication and unified safety protocols enhance site safety and risk management, while collaborative problem-solving and integrated quality control maintain high standards. Joint documentation and holistic reporting provide transparency and better decision-making, ensuring timely project completion, budget adherence, and high client satisfaction through coordinated handover and maintenance training.
An experienced landscape foreman will possess strong leadership and team management skills, enabling effective supervision and motivation of their crew. They will have proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and executing landscaping projects while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Their expertise will include technical landscaping knowledge, excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders, and strong problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges. Additionally, they will ensure high-quality workmanship through attention to detail, efficiently manage resources within budget, and maintain strict safety protocols. Proficiency in documentation and reporting, along with the ability to collaborate with civil construction teams, further ensures integrated project success and client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee landscaping projects from start to finish.
  • Manage and train a team of landscapers, ensuring efficient task delegation.
  • Communicate with clients regularly, addressing concerns and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Conduct inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
  • Procure materials and manage resources to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Identify and solve problems, adapting plans and schedules as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and submit progress reports.
  • Collaborate with civil construction teams and other contractors for integrated project success.
  • Develop maintenance plans and provide guidance on landscape care for client satisfaction and project longevity.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
