Overview:Our client design custom solutions to engage with the public in revolutionary ways and provide vital data and statistical feedback to government and private clients. They are an all-remote company, and they've been intentionally building their culture this way from the start. They are a company where you can contribute from almost anywhere. The client visualizes complex information in a simplified way and they are on a mission to build a leading stakeholder engagement platform in government tech. As the founding product designer for their growing company, you will help lay the foundation for the new enterprise SaaS platform. You will work on their analytics product, which is a powerful stakeholder engagement tool used by government and private clients. You will be working in both user experience and visual design capacities. You will lead the process of defining the visual language, and shaping the user experience for our analytics platform. If you are a product professional who is ready to own present actionable insights to the product team, and create wireframes and hi-fi mockups, your days will not be boring! Due to working closely with our company headquarter team overseas, there will be a need to be available for daily standup meetings between 4-6:30 or 7pm PST. Highly flexible for when the remainder of work is done in the day, but ability to attend daily meeting at this time is a must.

What you will be doing:
- Work with the product manager and developers to create a library of components that we can use to scale up our product development.
- Build click-through mock-ups and high-fidelity visual designs for new features and improve the existing ones.
- Build functional prototypes to validate and test your design assumptions by conducting user research.
- Continuously develop our design system and component library.
- Communicate research insights, UI/UX proposals, and product ideas through both written and verbal channels to stakeholders in the company.
- Bring a strong and evidence-based opinion to all design decisions. Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
- 4+ years of product design experience esp. B2B SaaS.
- Can work with PMs to take an idea from conception to requirements to set of wireframes and user flows that can be handed off to the engineering team.
- Can spin up quick designs and clickable prototypes on relatively short notice using Figma or a prototyping tool of your choice.
- Knows the fundamentals of creating a landing page (ideally familiar with the Hubspot CMS).
- Data-driven and analytical - A track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills - able to convince, debate, and learn (strong beliefs; loosely held).
- Demonstrate humility, curiosity, versatility, and creativity.
