Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer - Datacenter Products Work Location: Markham, ON, CAN, L3T 7X6 Duration: 18 Months Work Type: Contract Job Type: Hybrid JOB DUTIES: THE ROLE:

• The Datacentre Team is looking for dynamic and energetic Silicon Validation Engineers.
• As a key contributor to the time-to-market success of client's GPU based accelerators, you will work in collaborative teams to ensure quality of industry leading products for Machine Learning and High-Performance Computing applications.
• This role focuses on the SOC IPs involved in client internal communications.

THE PERSON:

• A collaborative problem solver capable in test content creation and execution of Silicon Validation.
• You will need to solve problems as a team tackling challenges from a tightly interdependent SOC datapath architecture.
• You should feel comfortable to be hands-on with Linux-based datacentre platforms in the labs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a SOC Validation Engineer, you will work all aspects of SOC validation from pre-silicon planning and emulation to post-silicon Power-on, validation, and debug.
• The focus will be on at-scale testing on technologies targeting all relevant concepts such as caching, coherency, and resource arbitration, just to name a few.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop procedures for validation and debug
• Develop at-scale validation test cases.
• Develop automation code in Python for set procedures
• Own end to end validation of IPs / features within the IPs in post-silicon.
• Hands-on execution on datacenter platforms for test and debug
• Lead diverse teams through debug efforts for issues found
• Interface with HW/FW design teams
• Meet critical program milestones for customer deliverables
• Technical reporting to communicate program status
• Build end-to-end test strategy from pre- to post-silicon with collaborative approach
• Continuous improvements to time-to-market and time-to-quality

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Test or design implementation experience in Graphics / CPU Hardware
• Strong Linux and coding skills (C/C++, Python, Ubuntu)
• Must have strong analytical skills for test creation and debug
• Relevant experience with computer data traffic concepts
• Traffic Queues and Cachin
• Memory mapping and allocation
• Resource arbitration
• Coherency
• Traffic performance and latency
• Experience developing HPC/ML applications or HW exercisers
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be a self-starter and be able to independently drive tasks to completion
• Experience in Datacenter Industry a valuable asset
