Job summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Manager with a strong background in database design and development, proficient in Java8, Angular frameworks, MSSQL Server, Oracle-SQL, and Spring technologies. This role requires a minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience, focusing on managing and enhancing geospatial data systems and applications to support business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of geospatial database structures to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular, ensuring responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Utilize Java8 and Spring technologies to create robust backend services and APIs.
- Oversee the integration of geospatial data systems with MSSQL Server and Oracle-SQL databases for seamless data management.
- Implement best practices in database design and development to support large-scale geospatial projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex geospatial data issues.
- Ensure the security and integrity of geospatial databases and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial data management and development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Optimize application performance through code reviews and refining database queries.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience in database design and development, particularly with MSSQL Server and Oracle
- SQL. - Proficiency in Java8, Angular (including versions 2-9), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex geospatial data projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating effectively across different teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements in geospatial data systems and processes.
- Experience in managing projects and guiding team members towards successful project completion.
- A commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments in geospatial technologies and data management practices.
