• We need candidates specifically who can code in Javascript using Cypress FW.
• Job Description:
• 1. Looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be joining a squad of engineers focused on testing Telus's digital applications.
• 2. You will be responsible for performing all Software Development Lifecycle activities such as designing, developing, testing and deployment with a primary focus on testing automation, framework, and traceability.
• 3. You will have hands-on experience working on tech stack which includes Javascript, Typescript, Angular, Cypress, GraphQL and similar. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies.

Required Skill Set:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
• 2. Hands on experience with web based and API based automation tool sets such as: Cypress, Playwright, and REST Assured (Cypress Preferred)
• 3. Hands on experience with Selenium for UI Testing
• 4. Proven experience in at least one of the technologies: Node.js, Java, JavaScript
• 5. Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• 6. Proven experience with GCP Services (GKE, Pub/Sub, GAR, Functions, Compute Engine, Etc.)
• 7. Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
• 8. Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience
• 9. Certifications in GCP or similar cloud platforms are a plus
• 10. Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plus
• 11. Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team
