The incumbent Business Systems Analyst is involved in a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth development and deployment of our products. Here's what you'll be doing:

Perform Systems Analysis

• Study the entire system in detail, from the initial design stages to deployment and release.
• Work closely with the development team to understand their needs and help develop the product.
• Scope out large tasks (epics) and features and identify areas where automation can improve efficiency.

Identify Business Needs

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and vision for the product.
• Translate this vision into business needs and communicate them to the development team, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
• Maintain ongoing, meaningful engagement with stakeholders to save the development team time and effort.

Translate Technical Issues

• Work alongside the development team to grasp the product's technical needs.
• Help the development team understand the stakeholder's vision and vice versa.
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring a balance between business and technical requirements.

Process/System Modeling and Documentation

• Represent stakeholder requirements and business data in clear, easy-to-understand formats.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to model the current and future behavior of the system.

Communicate Progress and Status Updates

• Provide progress and status updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Facilitate the prioritization of work to ensure product changes align with the product owner's goals.

Conduct QA Testing

• Perform quality assurance tasks, including developing test plans, designing test cases, and conducting tests (both manual and automated).

Exhibit Lean-Agile Leadership

• Help the team adopt SAFe Core Values, Principles, and practices.

Support the Product Owner

• Assist the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team.
• Foster a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.

Support RFP Development

• Help develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) to secure implementation partners for modernization projects.

This role is vital for ensuring that both technical and business needs are met, leading to successful product development and deployment.
