Supply Chain Manager
Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the search for a Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Manager will develop and monitor the company's entire vendor management approach, and customer-centric supply chain strategy from purchasing to production.
Responsibilities:
Track and coordinate key customer orders for production scheduling.
Ensure production plans align with the sourcing strategy.
Collaborate with suppliers to address production issues and guarantee timely deliveries.
Set and oversee shipping goals, and keep track of order statuses.
Aid in achieving the company's expansion goals by reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quarterly.
Forecast production needs and drive supply chain improvements.
Ensure compliance by documenting and updating all factory certifications and their expiration dates.
Prioritize vendor sustainability
Coordinate with logistics on sea/air freight matters.
Communicate daily with international vendors.
Facilitate the integration of new suppliers, ensuring compliance and social responsibility.
Engage with merchandising and design teams on production issues.
Plan seasonal strategies with merchandising and planning teams.
Assist the Sales Team in predicting production needs.
Guide the Sourcing Specialist to meet the company's gross margin targets.
Travel might be required
Requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience in managerial roles.
Proficient in leading cross-functional teams towards common goals.
Post-secondary academic credentials are considered an asset
7+ years of professional background in manufacturing or a comparable setting.
Rewards:
Base salary $80K - $95K
