Key Responsibilities

• Accounts payable - vendor management and communication, monitor AP inbox, ensure proper flow of invoices through AP, and process payments in a timely manner.
• Invoicing and accounts receivable - receive and record payments and make bank deposits.
• Banking – monitor balances of business and personal accounts and complete transfers.
• Diarize monthly and other recurring payments.
• Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support the Financial Accountant with other tasks, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma, preferably in accounting.
• 1-2 years of experience with accounts payable and cash.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Sage 300 and Beanworks (or other AP automation software) is an asset.
• Exceptional people skills (collaborator, problem solver).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and multitask at the same time.
• Perform with a high level of integrity and authenticity.
