We are searching for a creatively driven person to join us as a Game Designer. As a Game Designer, you'll be responsible for coming up with game themes, characters, mechanics, abilities, map designs, and more.

About the project:

We're looking for a Game Designer to help us with our Among Us Team. The selected candidate will be creating game design mechanics that will be watched on YouTube rather than played. This will be a remote contract position.

What you'll be doing

• Work with YouTubers to come up with viral game ideas.
• Building out game mechanics that are able to drive a narrative forward.
• Write a clean and concise GDD.
• Build out map, and UI wireframes.

Requirements:

• A college diploma in Game Design or equivalent.
• 3 years+ of in video game production or related experience.
• Experience working as a designer at other gaming studios
• Experience with productivity software (Spreadsheets, Trello, Jira).
• Ability to propose design solutions scoped for limitations such as timeline and resources.
• Knowledge of current gaming and viral trends.
• Self-starter who can think on your feet and manage your time efficiently.
• Excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives at once.
• Ability to set priorities and deliver against deadlines.
