We are seeking a Screening Plant Loader Operator who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction. J-AAR Materials are responsible for the supply of Aggregates, Landscape Products, Crushing, Trucking & Recycling.

Environment

A Screening Plant Loader Operator processes marketable materials within our various pit locations and select private sites. Operating may occur in all types of weather conditions and there is a varying degree of physical labour required.

How you will make an IMPACT

  • Operate Wheel Loader effectively and efficiently
  • Load feeder bin according to products required, manage material storage bins and grade haulage routes
  • Maintain equipment – grease, fluids, standard upkeep
  • Report damaged or faulty equipment to management
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Feeder and elevating conveyor operation and maintenance
  • Keep processing area clean and in order
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
  • Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation as required
  • Other duties as assigned

How you WOW us

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years related experience required
  • Product and industry knowledge is an asset
  • Valid G Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Basic Computers skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
