Our client, a leading Food Production Company, in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Plant Manager with solid experience in food manufacturing sector.

Job: Plant Manager

Location:- Greater Toronto Area, ON

Skills and Abilities Required

• College or University Degree in Engineering/ Machinery Processing is preferred;
• Minimum 4 years' experience managing a small to medium sized food manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HACCP and Food GMP implementation;
• A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.);
• Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with ERP/BPCS systems);
• Strong understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with automated process/packaging technology is an asset;
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies; (Six Sigma, Kaizen, IPM)
• Must have Plant Manager Experience from the Food processing industry.
