Lift Truck Line Driver

The Lift Truck Line Driver is responsible for directly supplying all necessary production materials to manufacturing at Plasman Tilbury.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Distributes all in-process material to the proper department ensuring receipt and documentation
• Assemble packaging materials as needed for manufacturing
• Transport material, packaging, and auxiliary equipment to any area as needed
• Maintain an orderly storage of raw materials, packaging and auxiliary equipment
• Prepare material for transportation as required
• Maintain storage as set out by the Production Supervisor to ensure that all material movement is tracked
• Provide any added assistance to other workers when time is available or requested by the Production Supervisor
• Place correct paint rack carriers at line
• Make sure that the correct in-process parts (ready for paint) are at line as per the "Line Loading Schedule"
• All partials in the Finished Goods isles, as per Floor Plan, are to be brought to the unload area as the schedule states

MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Lift Truck Operation Training

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Have attention to detail, a quality focus, and are safety minded
• Have the ability to work in Team Atmosphere
• Must have the ability to prioritize
• Must have experience in fast paced environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have own reliable transportation
• Job requires physical lifting, bending, pushing and twisting
• Must be flexible and able to work multiple shift rotations
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production line
• Must have ability to work with others
