Powell Foundations is a foundation company specializing in designing, supplying, and installing shoring and foundation systems. Our mission is to provide cost-effective foundation solutions and exceptional service to developers and general contractors in the Ontario market. We focus on heavy civil and infrastructure, primarily associated with road building. We are a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced company that thrives on excellence and customer service.
We are looking for an Admin/Coordinator to assist the Estimating team with day-to-day admin duties.
Main Responsibilities
  • Review tender/bid documents and create bid packages which reflect all resources required.
  • Respond and follow up with clients on bid requests and job-related inquiries.
  • Internal job set up, applying job numbers and creating job files for Estimating team.
  • Performs general administrative and recordkeeping functions.
  • Contact clients and suppliers regarding invitations, pricing, addenda and tender/bid closings.
  • Prepare & Submit prequalification documents.
  • Schedule weekly and monthly calendar for estimating.
  • Maintain systems and procedures in relation to estimating.
  • Assist Estimating team with other related duties as assigned from Estimating team
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a fast pace administration role is a must.
  • Interface and communicate effectively (written and oral) with the estimating team, management and clients
  • Strong computer aptitude including experience with MS Office Suite, Outlook and Adobe.
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to problem solve, manage multiple priorities and respect deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external clients.
  • Valid Driver's License
