We are in search of a high-energy and skilled IT Support Specialist to join the IT team of a well-established family-owned manufacturing group. With a strong track record of success and a significant market share, the group is guided by deep-rooted family values and culture. The new team member will be trusted to manage IT functions, contributing to a motivated and loyal workforce.


Reports to: Information Technology Manager

Scope of Position:
Provide daily technical support and assistance for our computer systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer on-site, email, and telephone support for end-users.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
  • Provide functional support for enterprise applications.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and various company websites and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve network, connectivity, and VPN issues.
  • Administer security measures, antivirus software, VPN, applications, and network support.
  • Perform system updates and upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain photocopier and printer hardware and related services.
  • Install operating systems, patches, updates, and applications.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in a computer-related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with desktop computer applications, operating systems, hardware, and networking devices.
  • Experience working in a Microsoft-based PC/server environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Office, Outlook, Exchange, AD).
  • Solid technical support experience with Windows 7/8/10/11 setup and configuration.
  • Experience with printer and peripheral installation and driver setup.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking (WAN, VPN, LAN), routing protocols (DNS, TCP/IP), and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS).
  • Basic computer programming skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Salary Range: $50,850 - $67,600
