In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your own sales territory by building relationships with new customers to drive business for our asphalt services. Overview

EverLine Coatings & Services - Hamilton Niagara is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and outgoing Outside Sales Representative. We are looking for someone who excels in B2B sales, can effectively use or quickly become proficient with HubSpot and Proposify, and is ready to engage in innovative lead generation to expand our business network. This role offers significant earning potential, with compensation including a base salary, commission, and performance bonuses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Objectives: Create and establish sales targets by forecasting and developing sales goals. Project expected volumes and profit for asphalt sales.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain sales volume by staying informed about industry supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Customer Communication: Provide superior customer service by effectively communicating with potential customers.
  • Quoting and Proposals: Accurately quote the scope of each job and build professional, detailed proposals using Proposify and HubSpot.
  • CRM Management: Track all activities in CRM (HubSpot) to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of leads and customers.
  • Lead Generation: Coordinate with management to generate leads and sales, utilizing previous sales experience to create connections and generate new business.
  • Reporting: Submit sales activity reports and updates to management, maintaining clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and DRIVEN values to ensure accurate representation of the company.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in asphalt/maintenance sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pavement, asphalt, paint, construction and related industries.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to effectively anticipate and resolve customer inquiries or reservations.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with the drive to attain and exceed targets.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with HubSpot and Proposify, or the ability to quickly become proficient with these programs.
  • Cold Calling: Willingness and ability to perform cold calling to grow a network of business.
