Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking a General Office Clerk to join our Vancouver office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic and hardworking team player who would like to work within our busy Vancouver office. The regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Standard Responsibilities:

  • Attending to scheduled client meetings and events (includes catering set-up and take down)
  • Providing service to boardrooms and in-house meetings (putting out beverages, setting out catered food, and general clean up)
  • Liaising with outside vendors and caterers
  • Ordering supplies and processing food orders
  • Stocking coffee stations throughout the firm
  • Cleaning, housekeeping, and upkeep of the kitchen facility on a daily, scheduled basis
  • Loading and emptying the dishwasher in the staff lunchroom and Food Services area
  • Stocking and maintaining boardrooms with appropriate dishware and supplies
  • Providing Reception coverage which includes greeting clients, directing incoming calls and answering questions in a courteous manner
  • Managing boardroom bookings using Meeting Room Manager software
  • Performing other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to deal with changing assignment and priorities
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Pro-active and service oriented approach is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and boxes up to 25lbs
