Reports To: VP of Finance & Admin

Employment Status: Temporary, Full-Time (14 month maternity leave coverage)

Anticipated Start Date: July 22, 2024

What You'll Be Doing

ProcedureFlow is looking for a Human Resources Manager to manage the full employee life cycle. This is a hands-on position, with a focus on our people, our top priority! This role is key in helping us ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works together to achieve our mission and objectives. You will also be responsible for general Human Resource functions including policy development, compensation, employee relations, benefit and payroll administration and special projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain all organizational changes in HRIS (BambooHR) and ensure SOC2 requirements are met.
  • Work with the Management team to understand and plan for current and future hiring needs.
  • Support the recruitment cycle from identifying selection criteria; selecting appropriate advertising methods; candidate screening; preparing job offers; and successful onboarding.
  • Provide support in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures and communicating any changes to management as well as employees.
  • Focus on customer service mentality to provide guidance and training to managers as it relates to HR practices.
  • Develop relationships with all ProcedureFlow team members and be main point to contact for any employee matters.
  • Champion payroll and benefits administration.
  • Work with management on special projects as they arise.
  • Organize and attend company events which is a vital part of the ProcedureFlow culture.
  • Oversee the tenure recognition and birthday program on a weekly basis.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in a full-scope Human Resources role is required, SaaS and remote work experience preferred.
  • Post-secondary education (degree or certificate) in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick employment legislation is a must, working with national teams considered an asset.
  • Able to build strong working relationships.
  • Coaching and negotiation skills experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking coupled with strong business acumen.
  • Technically minded with a solid grasp of MS Office and HR tools, such HRIS (BambooHR) and payroll software (Payworks).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and must be a self-starter.
  • Positive, authentic, mindful, and self-aware with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to all scenarios in a calm and respectful manner.
  • Able to multi-task while maintaining high quality work.
