JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Electrical Reliability Excellence Supervisor oversees and coordinates a team responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing machinery, equipment, buildings, grounds, and utility systems. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong interpersonal skills to cultivate a culture centered on safe, high-quality, and cost-effective maintenance programs. In this position, you will lead a team of highly skilled technicians to troubleshoot and address issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.

Collaborate with other plant functions to provide comprehensive support.

Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety protocols for employee health and wellbeing.

Prioritize maintenance tasks based on established plans and assign responsibilities accordingly.

Supervise maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production processes.

Mentor and develop team members, including making decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be legally entitled to work for our company in Canada

Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant work experience.

Legally entitled to work for the company in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Two years of supervisory experience.

Experience working in a unionized environment.
