Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team on a Continental Shift basis. The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate 433A Millwright License and possess experience in food manufacturing and industrial settings. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Utilize CMMS to document maintenance activities and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Adhere to safety requirements and policies, including enforcing lockout tag out procedures and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Safety Committee programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid 433A Millwright License.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing and industrial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently during off-shift hours.
• Flexibility to work Continental Shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
