Job Title – Marketing Design Coordinator

Department – Marketing

Reports to – Marketing Manager

Job Summary

The Marketing Design Coordinator will play a role in the development, implementation, and administration of NCS's external marketing strategies and internal projects. The Marketing Design Coordinator will work with the marketing and sales teams for initiatives such as social media, content creation, and implementing brand awareness, while demonstrating strong foundational design skills that support brand and design standards.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Support the management of NCS's brand identity, ensuring strong branding elements are integrated into all marketing projects and communication assets.
  • Curate, create, and schedule approved social marketing content for social media calendar.
  • Communicate with identified stakeholders on marketing projects, as assigned, meeting deadlines and expectations while maintaining brand and visual integrity.
  • Support the marketing team to create visually compelling campaigns across all media.
  • Support the marketing team with updating a variety of digital and print assets as requested.
  • Coordinate and support execution of brand publicity events such as trades shows, webinars, or other.
  • Execute administrative tasks and other marketing-related projects as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversions rates, traffic, etc.) as well as performance metrics to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Supports and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer.
  • Align individual goals with NCS corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
  • Participate in your Personal Development for Success (PDS)
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing and design; or equivalent; required.
  • 2-4 years of related experience as a Marketing Design Coordinator
  • Previous experience in oil & gas/energy industry preferred.
  • Proficient with graphic design tools: Adobe: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in posting to social media platforms.
  • Digital Marketing Experience; asset
  • Understanding of basic/intermediate marketing communication tasks and strategies
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to think on their own, with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Professional, with strong organizational skills, who is proactive, works well with other teams,
  • Exhibits effective communication and shows initiative and enthusiasm.

Additional Information

  • Overtime eligibility: Exempt
  • Employment Classification: Full-time, Regular
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday and may vary dependent on business needs

  • Travel: Travel within assigned region will be required occasionally
