POSITION: Maintenance Supervisor
INDUSTRY: Heavy Industrial Manufacturing
LOCATION: Hawkesbury, ON (approx. 1 hour east of Ottawa, Ontario)
STATUS: Permanent Full-timeOverview: Adhere to safety regulations, conduct monthly safety meetings, and investigate accidents to prevent recurrence.
Plan and schedule repairs and shutdowns, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure employees are trained and informed of expectations; complete training checklists promptly.
Collaborate with supervisors to resolve disputes and complete daily shift reports and weekly timekeeping approvals.Qualifications: 5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Maintenance field
Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of relevant experience or Red Seal certified trades certifications
Knowledge of Melt Shop / Rod Mill process
Bilingual: English and French (oral and written) considered an asset
