SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANTOBJECTIVE:The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with property management software.Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Reconcile bank accounts and accounts payable and receivable
• Manage the property tax and insurance escrow accounts
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Analyze financial data and identify trends
• Advise management on financial matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in property accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other property management software
