Our client seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Burnaby to oversee financial planning and analysis for the organization and its affiliates. Responsibilities include developing financial reports, improving processes, and providing analytical support for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare reports for management, executives, and the board, analyzing variances and trends.
- Develop financial models to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Assist in implementing new policies, processes, and reporting requirements.
- Serve as team lead for financial planning and analysis practices.
- Lead finance projects and documentation management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- CPA designation required.
- 5-7 years of experience in complex budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Dynamics Business Central, and MS Dynamics PowerBI.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, along with IT proficiency.
- Understanding of internal controls, risk management, and process improvement.
