Sales Development Representative

Financial Services / Fintech Sales

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for a relatively inexperienced B2B Sales person, who has the chops and desire to step-up, lead, and learn. This person has huge career potential and they are looking for an opportunity to truly make an impact in a fast-growing Fintech business. This role will allow you to touch, and potentially own, every part of the sales cycle; and has huge potential for growth. We would love for this person to grow within our company and eventually hire people to report into them, as this person builds out a territory or vertical.


Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly-motivated, and results-oriented team player with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling, who understands the value of research and the importance of personalizing value propositions and messaging to target prospects. The self-motivated individual will have an understanding and experience with Consultative Selling. He or she is highly driven and values the benefit of being part of an agile growing team.


What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Self prospecting

  • Researching lead personas through multiple channels (social, professional networks, news articles) in order to create engaging and thought-provoking outreach

  • Building custom communication plans for targeted personas

  • Constantly optimizing results based on what's working and what is not

  • Formulating a plan of attack for your week consisting of emails, calls, video meetings, Linkedin, and Twitter messaging

  • Utilizing the Playbook (scripts) to educate and qualify leads

  • Immersing yourself in industry knowledge to become a subject matter expert for your customers

  • Proactive internal communications to gather product specific information and turnaround prospect questions and sales material promptly.

  • Remote, no in-office requirements

Requirements
  • Must be fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have an understanding of any CRM solution
  • Must acquire strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring pipelines are always up to date and mission critical materials are turned around to clients on time.
  • Must be self-motivated, and believe in themselves
  • Must possess a college or university degree
