JOB FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for operating CNC production machines to manufacture parts to meet customer orders.

JOB DUTIES

• Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders.
• Plans and program machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Basic math
• Blueprint reading
• Basic knowledge of G and M codes
• Utilize various measuring gages.
• Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1-year experience as a CNC machine operator

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

Local Pay Range$20—$25 CAD
