About this role
We are recruiting for an eager Technical Systems Analyst/Programmer to join our Corporate IT team at our Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
The role will function in a multi-faceted role: Enterprise application configuration, development, technical troubleshooting, testing and enterprise application administration/support.
Your responsibilities
- ERP system configuration, development, and technical troubleshooting
- API Integration development, testing and support between ERP and other systems
- Design, develop, and maintain Python and C# applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Work collaboratively with the IT team to manage stakeholder requests
- Regularly update knowledge base and change management system, as well as document all necessary actions and system enhancements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Your experience and skills
- Degree in Computer Science or other relevant education
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and C#
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience developing, configuring, and troubleshooting JD Edwards preferred
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, ASP.NET, or .NET Core
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to foster positive productive professional relationships, with customer service approach
- Able to solve problems and use sound judgment for decision making
- Strong attention to detail
