DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Marketing Automation Manager to amplify our marketing efforts. This is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga head office. This role calls for the crafting and execution of top-tier lifecycle marketing strategies to boost customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value throughout their journey with us. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a background in marketing automation, adept at segmentation, and campaign management, combined with a deep understanding of customer behavior and commitment to data-driven decision making.

- Email Marketing: Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of email marketing initiatives, including lifecycle-triggered emails and newsletters.
- Lifecycle Marketing Strategy: Work alongside cross-functional teams to devise and execute strategies that enhance customer acquisition, onboarding, retention, and loyalty.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Utilize customer data for effective audience segmentation & deliver personalized marketing campaigns & communications for distinct customer segments.
- Marketing Automation: Develop and optimize marketing automations and workflows to enhance campaign execution, lead nurturing, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Monitor the customer journey to identify key touchpoints, creating targeted marketing initiatives to improve customer engagement & drive conversions.
- A/B Testing & Optimizations: Implement A/B testing, analyze campaign performance to refine messaging and audience targeting, fostering continuous improvement.
- Account Management: Develop & execute customer engagement campaigns that support both sales & product marketing, customer loyalty & retention, to optimize customer lifetime value.
- Automation & Reporting: Monitor & optimize the performance of CRM & Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring compliance with regulatory & privacy requirements such as CASL, and continuously improving campaign outcomes through analysis and optimizations.
- Deliverability & Inbox Placement: Test emails to minimize spam risks and improve inbox placement. Monitor and manage campaign deliverability to maintain a positive sender reputation.
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Connector, including reporting, data extension creation, and lead & contact management.
- Well-versed in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Content Builder, Email Studio, Analytics Studio and Journey Builder.
- Proven HTML, CSS and AMP script experience.
- Have successfully built and optimized email programs with advanced automation rules.
- A data-driven mindset, a proactive attitude, and great organizational skills
- A good understanding of marketing automation and email best practices
- Proficiency in audience segmentation and list management
- Strong collaborator who seeks out cross-functional feedback and input to build comprehensive strategies
- Strong project management skills & an ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Certification: Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (preferred)
