Your mission should you choose to accept it.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the face of Scalepad to our partners and prospects, playing a vital role in conveying the value of our products. Your responsibilities include delivering compelling product demonstrations, offering technical guidance, troubleshooting technical issues, providing product training, and serving as a trusted solutions consultant, both in pre-sale and post-sale scenarios.

To excel in this role, you must be an active listener and a strategic thinker. Your ability to find the right balance between our partners' needs and our company's business objectives will be pivotal.

Collaboration is key. You'll closely collaborate with various internal teams, including Sales, Success, and Support, to ensure our partners' success and satisfaction.

Responsibilities.

  • Work closely with the Partner Development (Sales) Team, you will provide technical leadership for our prospective/current Partners. This includes supporting successful product evaluations through deployment and integration guidance, product training, solutions consulting, root-cause problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Manage and drive multiple requests across simultaneous prospects & partner deployments.
  • Handle partner issues with empathy and respond professionally to technical / product questions.
  • Drive the discovery process, helping to uncover your partner's current business challenges to align them to business priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations that tell the ScalePad value proposition.
  • Guide prospects and partners through the evaluation process of ScalePad ensuring that our solutions meet key business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Primary owner of all technical aspects of the business cycle including activities such as product demos, solutions briefings, deep-dive tech discovery and the explanations of our system architecture with an understanding of APIs and integrations.
  • Drive yourself to maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire ScalePad suite of products

The ideal candidate's success criteria:

  • Ability to articulate complex technical and business solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact and communicate with senior management
  • Proactive, positive, self-starter with a passion for continually improving the processes around you
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work both independently and take direction.

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales engineering or SaaS consulting.
  • Recommended 2 years of Channel experience.
  • Proficiency in SaaS solutions, concepts, and business models.
  • Familiarity with the MSP/IT and SMB Channel Industry.
  • Strong commitment to ScalePad's mission and values.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced organization and evolving SaaS market.
  • A consultative approach to solving partner business challenges with a proven track record of overcoming technical objections. Problem-solving is second nature to you!
