The Role

Equispheres, as a rapidly growing manufacturing technology company, is seeking a senior IT professional to lead the development of our communications and information management systems.

The Senior IT Systems and Solutions Architect will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the company's information and collaboration systems, ensuring the smooth and effective flow of information throughout the organization. This includes implementing and maintaining enterprise and collaboration systems, managing the company's technology infrastructure and information security, and ensuring appropriate IT policies and procedures are in place.

The Senior IT Systems and Solutions Architect will report to the COO and collaborate with all of Equispheres' technical, administrative, and operations teams to advance business information management projects. A main priority will be the deployment of essential business systems such as ERP, CRM, and MES, making sure that information is well-connected to support our expanding production.

The Senior IT Systems and Solutions Architect is responsible for:

• Actively managing the implementation and maintenance of enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, collaboration software, and other business applications.
• Taking a hands-on approach to developing and implementing IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Directly managing the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems.
• Leading the IT team of internal and external resources, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Collaborating across departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business operations.
• Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technology trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT.
• Leadership experience. Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Background in database architecture is an asset.
• Experience with enterprise systems implementation and management.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
• Experience in the relevant industry is a plus.

Desirable Requirements:

• Beneficial to have experience managing IT infrastructure for physical manufacturing environments
• Experience with NetSuite, MS Teams, Sharepoint and Salesforce are assets
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, problem-solving startup
• Rapid organizational scale-up experience would be an asset.
