JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be a vital part of our event support team, assisting with both event logistics and warehouse operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of events by managing inventory, preparing materials, and providing on-site support as needed. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, combining warehouse duties with event setup, teardown, and assistance during event days.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management and Procurement
  • Receive, inspect, and organize event materials and supplies upon delivery to the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using designated systems and tools.
  • Proactively monitor stock levels and assist in procurement efforts to replenish supplies as needed.

Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in implementing improvements to warehouse layout and workflow.

Event Preparation and Setup:

  • Assist in preparing event materials, including signage, décor, and promotional items, ensuring they are staged and ready for deployment.
  • Help load event equipment onto trucks and transport it to event venues.
  • Collaborate with the event setup team to assemble staging, seating arrangements, and other infrastructure according to event specifications.

On-site Event Support:

  • Provide assistance during event setup, teardown, and throughout the event as needed.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues that may arise during events, including equipment malfunctions or last-minute changes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, exhibitors, and other event personnel, facilitating smooth communication and coordination.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, both in the warehouse and at event venues.
  • Ensure that all equipment and materials are handled and stored safely to prevent accidents or damage.
  • Participate in regular safety training sessions and contribute to maintaining a culture of safety awareness among team members.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations and event support roles preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if applicable).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for transportation of event materials).
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
  • Extended periods of standing, bending, and walking in warehouse and event settings.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves working in both warehouse and event environments. While in the warehouse, you will handle and manage event materials, equipment, and inventory. At event venues, you will assist with setup, teardown, and on-site support during events. The work may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and other hazards commonly found in warehouse and event settings. Protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots may be required.
