You will
- Work and liaise with people across the company including acquisition, development, construction, accounting, asset management and leasing in order to understand the upcoming capital needs of the Company
- Prepare external financing materials, including financing presentations for debt financings, (first and second mortgages) and investment information memoranda for equity financings
- Assist with sourcing and structuring debt financing for acquisitions and development projects
- Assist with the management of the debt portfolio for our income properties
- Contribute to the timely completion of real estate acquisition and financing due diligence processes/requirements
You have
- A University degree or diploma in Real Estate, Business or Finance
- A minimum 7 years of experience in the Finance sector, with at least 5 years in the Real Estate industry
- Experience financing residential developments and/or commercial properties
- An understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation principles, and experience working with proformas and underwriting deals
- A proven track record of deal execution, including preparation of financing presentations and negotiation of loan terms/agreements
- A well-developed network of contacts in the lending community
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and advanced level Excel skills

Salary range
- $150,000 - $170,000 per year estimated, based on experience.
