The Intermediate Network Analyst will be part of the Project Services department that is responsible for delivering a wide range of IT infrastructure projects. The Network Analyst will work on projects to upgrade network equipment in acute hospital Communication rooms within the Lower Mainland.
What you will be doing:

• Onsite work to gather information required for VOIP phone deployment.
• Onsite work to deploy new VOIP handsets.
• Onsite work to troubleshoot TDM phones and Low voltage cabling in support of VoIP migration projects.
• Racking networking equipment in Communications rooms.
• Provide support related to the work above.
• Physical labour related to the work above.
• Provide network implementation/production cutover services outside of normal business hours, as required.

What you have:

• A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree or technical diploma in a program such as communications technology plus appropriate vendor network certification, and four years of recent data networking experience.
• 3 years of demonstrated experience with voice network equipment implementation/planning, site assessments, low voltage cabling, racking and physical commissioning of voice and network equipment, and application of network standards and network issue problem-solving/troubleshooting.
