We provide hyper-efficient software to companies wanting to gain an edge with quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Our product, Singularity, is a software platform that contains quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms developed and patented through proof-of-concept trials we have been performing for industrial and service clients. As a Financial Engineer, you will

  • Work with clients to identify how Multiverse technologies can be used to solve their finance related problems.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to the engineering teams to ensure financial principles are upheld.
  • Contribute to innovating and developing solutions to financial problems with machine learning and quantum technologies.
  • Join a world-class team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.
  • Work with Fortune-500 customers from government and private sectors.
  • Collaborate with the founding team in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Invent new approaches to open problems broadly available in finance, such as those that exist in asset management, derivatives pricing, trading strategy and execution, risk management, collateral management, forecasting, and others.
  • Conduct case studies for world leading financial institutions.
  • Validate our financial models against the industry's bleeding edge.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Financial Economics or Financial Engineering;
    alternatively, Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or Mathematics and significant work experience in Financial Engineering fields
  • Advanced knowledge of Python.
  • Expertise in financial theory.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms or statistical models used in Finance.
  • Understanding of standard derivatives pricing models and numerical pricing methods.
  • Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and through online resources.
  • Perfect command of English language
  • Team player
  • Ability to problem solve given incomplete information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in quantitative finance.
  • Experience with numerical methods for exotic, and fixed income derivatives.
  • Experience using git, unit testing, and Docker.

Exceptional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated the ability to publish in reputable journals, showcasing high standards of research and communication.
  • Experience in client-facing roles within sales or business development.
  • Having previous working experience in finance, ideally in a quant research role or risk management.
  • Knowledge of quantum physics / quantum computing.
