Contract (Supplier) Quality Engineer
Overall Purpose
Responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of their organization. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), will actively participate in strategic development based on quality control plans. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will manage the supply chain, serve as liaison for suppliers, suggest quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment.

ResponsibilitiesClient relationship & Business development- Update customer with the necessary information (daily reports, protocols, statistics etc.)
- Oversee projects start to finish, be hands on and proactive in finding quality issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of supplier programs
- Recommend and Implement cost-effective corrective actions
- Maintain successful relationships with supplier, engineering, manufacturing, and other
- Assisting operations in obtaining the correct information to kick off reworks, containments and any other value add to Stellantis mission we may be tasked with. Interfacing directly with the customer.
- Performing risk-based assessments on all projects to understand and mitigate risk.
- Performing audits to ensure compliance and adherence to Best Practices and developed process'.
- Acting as a SME between TRIGO Operations and WAP Resident Engineering.
- Develop rework plans and process as requested from WAP.
- Report supplier performance and quality to management, and provide quality solutions
- discover gaps in a process with suppliers and implement root cause and corrective actions.
- Lead multiple projects to completion
- Manage process controls and measure readiness throughout the product development cycle
- Support and coordinate the PPAP process
- Prepare management reports based on customer expectations (main quality KPIs)
- Prepare work instruction and its related documents and approving the work instructions
- Clarification of the technical details and customer requirements of a new mission/project
- Maintain accurate records, conduct capability assessments that validate and verify supplier qualifications
- Analyze and determine innovative solutions to quality-related issues

- Travel may be required (minimum 50%)
