As the Vendor Analyst Student (4-month term), you will be responsible for the inventory, tracking, and auditing of various procurement and vendor management work, software maintenance, and vendor administration through the proper process with approvals from required team members. This position will also assist the Vendor Manager with daily operational activities. This role will provide great exposure to various elements of Supply Chain including procurement, scheduling, inventory management, and project management. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to engage with multiple cross-functional teams and be part of exciting projects.

A Day in the Life

The Vendor Analyst Student will be accountable for:

• Manage preparation, implementation, and execution of procurement processes
• Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices
• Assist Vendor Manager in vendor selection, management, and performance
• Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays daily to the Vendor Manager
• Support the vendor management team on various projects and cost savings initiatives
• Assist in maintaining and administration of vendor files
• Maintain procurement data bases and assistance with data entry/analysis
• Work collaboratively with other departments in addressing issues

Your Resume

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; final year preferable
• Demonstrated leadership with great attitude, passion for growing and continuous learning
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with changing and competing priorities
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving aptitude
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to display a positive attitude with a high level of professionalism.
• Able to work with Microsoft Office Suite products with intermediate to advance skills.
