We are looking for a designated accountant with public reporting experience, that is an Excel expert, experienced in working with ERP systems in a multi-currency environment. A candidate that was previously a controller/assistant controller and have prepared complex consolidated financials using Excel.
Core job functions:

• Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Maintaining parallel Accounting Systems.
• Maintaining monthly schedules and posting monthly journal entries for depreciation, leases, ROU, incentive plans, foreign exchange re-evaluation, intercompany transactions, elimination entries, and management fee charge out.
• Preparing quarterly audit schedules.
• Reviewing and explaining variances to budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Supporting the preparation of all public company filings including financial statements, notes to financial statements, MD&A and supporting documents and schedules.
• Preparing internal and external ad hoc reports and financial analysis as required.
• Supporting compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
