As the Human Resources Coordinator, you are responsible for the administering Human Resource programs, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and administration tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver employment offers
  • Create new electronic files and manage employee data
  • Support payroll to initiate payroll, identify and communicate changes and resolve system issues
  • Lead, coordinate and deliver onboarding for corporate office team members and site managers
  • Administer offboarding process for all team members in Alberta and BC
  • Manage internal assets for onboarding and offboarding purposes
  • Assist with building a targeted recruitment strategy for challenging locations
  • Support the Human Resource team through recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Post current vacancies externally and manage applications
  • Support full cycle recruitment of frontline, service positions
  • Pro-actively manage the candidate experience and prepare candidates by acting as an ambassador, provide details on career opportunities
  • Screen resumes and conduct prescreen calls
  • Coordinate site interviews and conduct reference calls
  • Document management, including regular updates
  • Contribute to process improvements leading to centralizing and streamlining Human Resource operations
  • Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Human Resources
  • Completion of post secondary program in Human Resources is considered an asset
  • Certified CPHR or working towards certification is considered an asset
  • Experience with multiple locations is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated excellent client service skills and superior interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working within an HRIS and ATS platform
  • Demonstrated knowledge of provincial labour laws, workers' compensation, and union relations
  • Demonstrate understanding of provincial labour laws in Alberta & BC
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities
