As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- HR Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing HR team to support organizational needs.
- Provide expert guidance on human resource matters.
- Strategic Business Partnership:
- Collaborate with executives to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Offer insights and recommendations on people-related decisions.
- Talent Development Programs:
- Implement comprehensive development programs to upskill the workforce.
- Train managers and identify skills gaps for improvement.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns and ensuring fair policies.
- Oversee employee appreciation and relations programs.
- Change Management:
- Lead change initiatives by effectively communicating changes and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management processes aligned with company goals.
- Recruitment and Retention:
- Develop strategies to attract top talent and oversee recruitment processes.
- Implement retention initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs, design programs, and enhance workforce skills and capabilities.
- Legal Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and Federal laws related to human resources.
- Report and work with management on necessary changes.
- Software Systems:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for HR-related software systems.
- Identify and recommend improvements to executive management.
- Handbook and Policy Management:
- Review and recommend updates to the employee handbook and policies.
- Benefits Management:
- Oversee yearly benefits renewal and ensure market competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Human Resources or related area; SHRM Certification.
- Experience: 10+ years of continuous HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, computer proficiency, virtual meeting skills.
- Knowledge: Extensive experience with ADP, benefit management software, HR data analysis, and federal/state employment legislation.
- Soft Skills: Business acumen, problem-solving, attention to detail, results-driven, initiative, collaborative, flexible, and committed to professional development.
