Compensation range: $90K- $100K CAD per annum

The Compensation Range includes the span between the minimum and maximum base salary. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum base salary and can be considered for an employee with full job knowledge, required qualifications and experience for the position.

Organizational Status
We are currently looking forward to welcoming a Director- International Student Advisor and Recruiter. You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the Vice President and President. You'll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in continuous development and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada. You will be responsible for developing and growing the domestic sales market to expand the scope and operations of CICCC in international market.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for the creation and execution of targeted strategic enrollment and advising and recruitment strategies across the International market.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline International student enrolment and improve efficiency.
  • Define target markets and identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Lead the development and management of strategic account plans.
  • Participate in the development of effective marketing materials to support department efforts.
  • Establish and monitor a system of reports and analytics to track key metrics and activities, providing leadership with visibility into performance.
  • Provide direction and oversight to on-ground Admissions teams, ensuring they meet key targets and metrics, including HubSpot database activity tracking.
  • Develop a comprehensive job profile for the International Student Advising and Recruitment team, emphasizing a strong promotion and marketing focus.
  • Establish training programs to support the team's success, contribute to ongoing professional development, and enhance retention rates.
  • Develop and manage related budgets.
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and motivate the activities of the International Student Advising and Recruitment team.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic plan by analyzing data and trends.
  • Analyze and offer recommendations on developing and promoting strategies for attracting more potential International students.
  • Formulate and develop a framework for prioritizing new business ventures.
  • Develop a framework to accelerate a digital go-to-market strategy, enabling scalability of products, service offers, and business models.
  • Monitor and evaluate activities, services, and products of competitors.
  • Maximize key relationships to create synergies, alliances, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and business presentations.
  • Identify and attract new customers while servicing existing ones.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Maintain sales and utilization quota results in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan.
  • Investigate sales policies and programs to determine their efficacy and efficiency.
  • Conduct evaluations and suggest modifications to practices in areas like operations, human resources, records management, and communications for the overall growth of the International Student Advising and Recruitment team.
  • Develop long-term relationships with third-party vendors to increase the promotion of our services.
  • Analyze and present all ROI to the management (KPI might vary based on projects)
  • Develop, manage and assist companies regarding regulatory policies and practices, ensuring internal adherence to International regulations, and preparing submissions and filings with regulatory agencies.
  • Lead the connections, including answering a combination of phone calls, emails, and online chat messages to provide initial support to customers
  • Developing sales reports to share with executive leadership and senior members of the International Student Advising and Recruitment team
  • Adhering to the procedures and guidelines of the company
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends, available merchandise, and new products that the company will offer to clients and customers
  • Perform other additional administrative duties related to the International Student Advising and Recruitment.

Supervision ReceivedWorks independently and in collaboration with the Director- Student Advising and Recruitment (Domestic), Vice President, Business Outreach and Partnership Team, Director of Academics and Director of Admissions. The performance is evaluated for efficiency, effectiveness, achievement of objectives, and quality of work.
Supervision Given Responsible for mentoring, coaching, developing, and managing the department by promoting Respect, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leadership roles related to admissions, student advising, and business development.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in working in an educational institution is preferred.
  • Experience in creating and implementing successful marketing plans.
  • Evidence of past experience of a varied nature establishing strategic direction and related execution.
  • A proven track record of working productively and collaboratively with peers and

units to achieve desired objectives; an ability to be innovative, forward looking and to

take risks to bring about change and improve service delivery.

  • A thorough understanding of PTIB regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Understands changing landscape of the industry and sets organizational strategy to

meet anticipated customer expectations.

  • Awareness and knowledge, or capacity to build, of provincial student financial aid

policies, intersections with student awards, registration and student academic

pursuits.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and operationalize effective strategies related to

improving student services delivery frameworks and possesses strong project

management skills.

  • Superior analytical skills with an advanced knowledge of educational policies and

procedures.

  • Superior communication skills (both oral and written) in order to deal consultatively

with a wide variety of clientele and in order to assimilate.

  • Superior interpersonal, persuasive, negotiating, conflict management and facilitative.
  • Ability to build, motivate, coach and lead a team; empathy with student faculty and staff concerns and an ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and clients.
  • Possess highly developed diplomatic skills appropriate to a large and complex

organization.

  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to meet pre-defined deadlines and

coordinate a number of projects simultaneously.
