What You'll Do:

  • Greet customers, serve ice cream traveling to various fairs and businesses across Ontario for events.
  • Provide information to customers.
  • This is a dynamic role that requires multi-tasking with the ability to work independently.
  • Replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Handle cash-making change.
  • Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit.
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce.
  • Maintaining a superbly clean atmosphere of the scoop truck.
  • Physical aspects of the role include standing/walking and bending at the waist.
  • In some instances, you will need to be able to lift and/or move objects weighing at least 11.3 kg (25 lbs).
  • Repetitive tasks, specifically in the wrists; prolonged use throughout shift.
  • Bending, stooping and standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Food handlers certificate an asset.
  • Available for May 10, 2024.

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings, weekend shifts as well as federal and civic holidays to ensure effective oversight of all segments of the business and communication with staff.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Mature and reliable with strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Flexible; crew members must be available to work a variety of shifts on days, evening, weekends and statutory holidays. For this position we are looking for someone able to commit daytime and some night hours during our fall and winter season.
  • This is a dynamic role that requires multi-tasking with the ability to work independently.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be of age to stay overnight in hotels.
