The Senior Accountant will work with the Finance team to support the day-to-day accounting activities of GOcxm and it's related companies.
This position is Permanent Full-Time.
You should have a complete understanding of the accounting cycle, ability to maintain accounts payables/receivables, general ledgers and produce monthly company financials. Proficiency using Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online and Excel is a requirement. A diploma/degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing daily ledger entries and reconciliations
- Preparing and managing AP/Purchase Orders
- Charge expenses to accounts, reconciling entries
- Communication with internal employees and external customers
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Regulatory Filings
- Identifying and resolving accounting issues
- Identifying and making cost saving proposals
- Filing and document maintenance
- Collaborating with team members across all departments in accounting related matters
- Ad-Hoc reporting on an as-needed basis
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of full cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience
- College Diploma/Certificate in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Strong aptitude with Quickbooks Desktop, QBO and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
- Willing to take on new roles and challenges
