Energetic, positive and solution-oriented, the Account Executive supports the Supervisors, Directors, GADs and/or VPs of the pharma marketing team to deliver exceptional value and foster strong relationships with our clients. The Account Executive will help facilitate the planning, communication, execution and administrative demands of specific projects or accounts. This role will have contact with our clients, partners and internal delivery team, and as such good judgement and professionalism are fundamental requirements.

They must be able to bring a solutions-based approach to problem solving across all responsibilities. Identifying opportunities to improve support, communication and quality, and ultimately the value Believeco:partners provides for its pharmaceutical industry clients, is a key component of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with client stakeholders involved in the day-to-day project delivery, building rapport and instilling confidence in the agency partnership.
  • Support the development of project briefs, both tactical and strategic, by synthesizing the client ask, conducting research, gathering team input, determining project requirements (both client and project-related requirements), and summarizing the project to successfully kick-off the project with the agency team. This may include owning smaller projects from brief to project delivery, with support from the PM team on execution.
  • Review and consult with the Project Manager on project deliverables across every stage of the project lifecycle to ensure that client requirements are met, and client communication/feedback/approval is received as determined by the client's approval process. This includes reviewing copy and layout across the key milestones of the project, and assisting with the management of external governance and compliance (e.g., ASC, PAAB, etc.)
  • Support in the preparation of client presentations, take meeting notes, prepare and distribute minutes, and follow-up on actions items.
  • Contribute to new business development by way of project organization, coordination, or research, which may have tight timelines
  • Work with the Project Management (PM) team leads to keep the status document up to date, including a high-level understanding of all projects

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Coordinator, or similar role
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing and familiar with Health Canada regulations, the PAAB code and medical/legal/regulatory review process (e.g., Veeva)
  • Strong written skills and can communicate clearly and concisely via email, Teams or other communication channels.
  • Diploma or degree in marketing, communications or advertising is desired
